Google AI Mode

AI Mode runs many searches per question. We build subtopic coverage so your pages are pulled for the sub-queries.

What we do

AI Mode is Google's conversational search. Rather than running one search, it splits a question into many related searches, which Google calls query fan-out, and writes its answer from the pages those return. A site with one good page on the headline topic can still miss most of the sub-queries. This work maps those sub-questions for your category and gives each one a strong answer on your site.

What we work on

  • A fan-out map: the sub-questions a buyer's query breaks into, such as price, sizing, care, delivery and alternatives.
  • A coverage check marking each sub-question on your site as answered well, answered thinly or missing.
  • New sections and pages for the gaps, drafted by our Writer agent and edited by a person.
  • Internal links that connect a topic's pages, so the depth of your coverage is easy to see.
  • Likely follow-up questions answered on the page, since people keep asking after AI Mode's first reply.
  • AI Mode prompts tracked weekly for whether your pages are among the sources.

What you get

A topic map of your category with every sub-question marked covered, thin or missing, and a ranked plan to fill the gaps. You approve each page before it goes live, and the weekly report shows which sub-queries now bring up your pages.

Questions

Google AI Mode: common questions

How is AI Mode different from AI Overviews?

AI Overviews add a summary above normal results. AI Mode is a separate conversational experience that runs many searches per question, so covering the whole subject counts as much as one strong page.

Does this mean writing lots of thin pages?

No. One thorough page that answers several related questions is usually better than many thin ones. We add a page only when a subtopic needs its own.

Does AI Mode need any special setup?

No. Google says the same SEO basics apply: the page must be indexed and eligible to show a snippet. What changes is how widely your content needs to cover the subject.
