How an Indian Ethnic Wear Brand Grew Non-Branded Search Visibility by 95%
Reporting period: September 1 to October 14, 2026, compared with the previous period. Impressions are compared on a daily-average basis

Overview
The client is an Indian D2C ethnic wear brand selling handcrafted women's and men's wear, from festive suits and co-ord sets to winter shawls. Demand was strong, but most traffic came from paid social and ads. The goal was to build a steady organic and AI-search presence for high-intent, non-branded keywords and make every ad rupee trackable.
The Challenge
Organic search was a small share of traffic: about 17K sessions, against 63K from paid social and 81K from cross-network campaigns. The brand averaged position 8.1 on Google, so most non-branded searches never reached page one. Content was generic, and conversion tracking needed cleanup before ad budgets could be scaled with confidence.

Google Ads: what we fixed
Orders from Google Ads clicks were not always showing in the Ads account, and purchase events could be counted twice. We audited the Shopify checkout, GA4 and Google Ads setup, then fixed the conversion hierarchy. Cross-network sessions grew 230% over the period, and the brand now optimises on one clean purchase signal.
Ads before and after performance (ROAS, cost per purchase) will be added here once the new tracking has a full reporting window.
